For the final episode - of the present series - of Back of the (Inter)net, the sport podcast I produced for Richard Summerfield and Phil Davis, I recorded a parody song which Phil wrote, based around Carly Simon's You're So Vein. And, um, here it is.

Make sure you check out and subscribe to the podcast.

Last Wednesday, some people more committed than I spent 11 hours (some less...fewer...um) on the number 11 bus, in aid of Jon Bounds' psychogeography project, 11-11-11. To honour the occasion, this is my 2-minute number 11 song, featuring the names of all the bus stops slong this famous route.

I had a cold when recording this, so my voice is a bit off, but nevertheless Jon and Gavin had the world exclusive first ever play on their Rhubarb Radio show, The Big Paws. (It's on Saturdays, 8 til 10am. Give it a damn listen why don't you.)

Here's a song for anyone who's ever uploaded a video only to find it's not the instant viral sensation you thought it would be. All parts, including strangled vocals and excluding the drums are played by me. Sorry.

If you have an idea for a song I should do, lemme know and I'll see if I can't make it happen next Sunday.

I like to listen to Adam and Joe ("but I listen to the podcast, not the live show"), and now that I finally have the tools I thought I'd send in a jingle for one of their now, more regular slots, in which they feature jokes penned by listeners.

Adam complained a couple of weeks ago that people were appropriating Joe's singles more than his, so I thought I'd have a bash at doing one for the madeup jokes segment. I don't know if anyone else has submitted jingles for this bit; I certainly don't remember hearing them played out, so here's my attempt.

This week the theme was Libras. Yeah, the star sign. I know, that's what I said, but who am I to challenge the weighty intellect and mighty stature of Danny Smith? I've had a good ol' rant on this one, and played a bit of piano.

This week's Technical Difficulties theme was Japan. I found this easier to write than I thought; it took me half-an-hour at 2:30 in the morning, and flowed quite easily despite knowing very little about the country. It's longer than usual, and contains a real live actual joke. Maybe that's why it didn't make it into this week's show ;)

I popped into the studio this week, to join the Technical Difficulties chaps as they discussed the Caped Crusader. Here is my contribution to the show:

This week on Technical Difficulties, it was Phil's birthday show, the idea being that as the show is themed, every time there's a birthday coming up, the show turns its attention on that (un)lucky person. So it's the turn of Phil, and although I heart this man very much, it wasn't an easy write, evidenced I guess by the fact it's only about 90 seconds long!

Here’s my piece on cats, recorded for Technical Difficulties. This one didn't come as easy as the dogs subject, despite being a cat person.

Last week, Danny Smith asked me to record a regular 2-minute piece for his Rhubarb Radio show, Technical Difficulties. I duly complied but unfortunately last week’s didn’t make it onto the live show as the lads had something of a nightmare, due to everything breaking on them.

I asked if I could pop my recordings online somewhere as MP3s, so here’s my first one. Every week the show centres, meanders or staggers drunkenly around a particular theme. Last week’s was dogs, so here is my offering.
