This year I feel I've walked away from lots of things, but it's all in preparation for what I hope to be a much better 2010. The projects I've been involved with during '09 have mostly made my life richer, but I have to do an amount of clearing before my Big Project begins next year. And with the outcome of Hackitude still very much at the front of my mind, time is going to become an even more precious commodity than it is now.

So it's with real, genuine sadness that I leave Back of the (Inter)net, just after finishing its second series. I helped set this up with Rich and Phil and have produced 24 episodes and 25 specials since. We moved to the Mac platform for series 2, and were able to offer two versions of the podcast, which is one of many things the lads let me learn on the job.

Needless to say of course, BOTIN will be back in the new year, driven by Rich, who took over from me when I hung up my Tech Diff headphones (see a running theme here?), and with the sport knowledge rising from 66% to 100%, the show's set to become better and better. I might still put in the odd musical appearance though, sorry.

In Rich and Phil I couldn't hope to meet to nicer blokes. We've had such a laugh over the last year, through Rhubarb and BOTIN, and I hope that we'll be working together in the coming months. I've had bags of fun and learned loads, and I look forward to hearing series 3 next year. But the show's no fun unless people listen and get in touch, so please show your support by subscribing via iTunes and following them on Twitter.
